Directions to St. John Lake Property on Strom Thurmond Lake (Clark's Hill)
By land:
From Washington Road in Augusta, take Highway 28 north (Fury’s Ferry Rd.) into South Carolina, towards McCormick.

After you pass through the intersection with US 221 (at Clark Hill Dam Road),
continue on Highway 28 for 2.2 miles.

After the sign for Scotts Ferry, the St. John site entrance is the next left. A sign marks the site: St. John United Methodist Church.

Drive through the gate and continue on the dirt road.

The worship area will be on your left.

The beach, recreation area, campsites, and lodge are straight ahead at the end of the road.

Driving time from Washington Rd: approximately 20 minutes.

By boat:
Look for the sign on South Carolina side, 2 miles above the dam
