You don’t want to miss our 38th Annual Choir Camp presentation “Rooted in Love.”
Worship services are combined this Sunday, July 14th, at 11am for the choristers to lead us in worship.
This week at St. John, 30+ young people will discover what it means to be rooted in love: singing, dancing, acting, and playing instruments as we gather for our annual choir camp.
We have a large staff of highly-trained adults and young people, teaching music, designing costumes, and embodying scripture through drama. Our actor friends, Tom Long and Jocelyn Sluka from Friends of The Groom acting troupe in Cincinnati, OH, will be here to teach and delight us.
What does it mean to be rooted in love? We bring God’s message of love to others. We use the gifts God has given us – no matter how small – to help others. We respect others, no matter who they are. We are part of a loving family – the Body of Christ. We courageously follow God – and find ourselves doing things we never expected.
When we are rooted in Christ, we grow into what God wants us to be. Sometimes, that is very different from what we imagine we will be.
This worship service will strengthen your hope in the seeds we are planting as these young people grow in wisdom and love through your support. Join us.
Grace and Peace,
