There are many ways to connect with our Fellowship. Through Wednesday night programs, small group classes, special events, or lake days, we hope to connect you with your fellow brothers and sisters in Christ.
See our calendar for the scheduled meetings of the following groups:
United Methodist Men (UMM)
A group of men of all ages who meet to encourage fellowship, spiritual growth and service. We meet at the church fellowship hall on the second Tuesday of each month at 6:30 p.m. for dinner ($7.00) and a meeting/guest speaker. We currently administer the Stoppelbein Scholarship – an annual scholarship awarded to St. John members to further their educational endeavors at the post secondary level. We use donations to fund this, as well as participate in fundraising opportunities, such as the parking lot.
United Methodist Women (UMW)
For women of all ages, we meet in individuals’ homes the second Monday of each month at 7:00pm. Bible study, Fellowship, service projects. We also sponsor a Spring Ladies’ Tea and the Annual Women’s Retreat.
United Methodist Youth Fellowship (UMYF)
UMYF meets each Wednesday from 6:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. in the Youth Room, Rm 214, for devotions, prayer, music, and fellowship.
This Older Adult Ministry (ages 50 +) meets for various programs and speakers at 11:00 a.m. followed by lunch at noon ($7.00) on the fourth Monday of the month, from September through May. You do not have to be a member of St. John to attend. All are welcome!
Small Group Fellowship
Gatherings for fellowship and faith feeding. Groups generally meet monthly, although some short orders are available occasionally!
Ladies, Literature and Laughter
Join us to laugh, eat, and enjoy a different book each month. Reading the book is helpful, but not necessary. We meet in a different home each month on the fourth Tuesday evening at 7:00 p.m.
Prayers and Squares
Our ministry is to make prayer quilts for members and family of members when they are going through a difficult time. Not currently meeting, but please check for updates.
