On Sundays, children will meet for Sunday school at 10 am by Zoom conference, using the Deep Blue Curriculum.  Simply log onto our video conferencing site: Zoom Meeting (details to come) at 10am on Sunday Morning April 5, 2020 to learn a Bible lesson with your Sunday School teachers Ms. Pam and Ms. Carol!

At St. John, we believe in our kids and in our biblical responsibility to our kids. We strive for a program that is centered on love, growth, and fun.

Summer Events:

  • Sunday School classes continue year round
  • Vacation Bible School, usually held in June each summer.
  • Choir Camp for rising 3rd-12th graders, held each July.

Supervised nursery, birth – 5yrs, Rms. 103-105

5:00 p.m.      Cherub and   Wesley Choir, ages 3-4, 4-6, Rm. 206

Junior Choir, grades 2-8, Choir Room (upstairs behind the sanctuary)

6:00 p.m.             Supper for all ages, Fellowship Hall

6:40 p.m.             M&M Club! Methodists and Missions for Pre-K–5th grade, Rm 109

Study/Homework space also available for 3rd-5th grade

(Some seasonal, multigenerational activities also take place at this time.)

Annual Fellowship Events:

  • Easter Egg Hunt.

•Family-centered events at our lake property

•Fall Festival held as the Wednesday night program the last week of October

•Harvest Festival held on a Saturday in early November at our lake property, including games, campfire, hayrides, dinner, and the chili-cook-off contest

•Birthday Party for Jesus held Wednesday after dinner the week before Christmas in the choir room. The Wesley and Junior choirs perform the story of the nativity in song and tableau. At the end of the program, we sing “Happy Birthday” and serve birthday cake.
