At St. John, we believe in our kids and in our commitment to our kids. We strive for a program that is centered on love, growth, and fun.

Junior Choir, grades 1-8, Choir Room (upstairs behind the sanctuary)

6:00 p.m.             Supper for all ages, Fellowship Hall

6:40 p.m.             Study/Homework group for 3rd-5th   (Nursery available for birth to 2nd grade)

1st Wednesday of the month: the MinM Club! Methodists in Mission for Pre-K–5th grade, Rm

(Some seasonal, multigenerational activities also take place at this time.)


Annual Fellowship Events:

  • Easter Egg Hunt usually held the Saturday morning before Easter.
  • Family-centered events at our lake property
  • Fall Festival held as the Wednesday night program the last week of October
  • Harvest Festival held on a Saturday in early November at our lake property, including games, campfire, hayrides, dinner, and the chili-cook-off contest
  • Birthday Party for Jesus held Wednesday after dinner the week before Christmas in the choir room. The Wesley and Junior choirs perform the story of the nativity in song and tableau. At the end of the program, we sing “Happy Birthday” and serve birthday cake.


Summer Events:

  • Sunday School classes continue year round
  • Vacation Bible School, usually held in June each summer.
  • Choir Camp for rising 2nd  – 8th graders, held each July.
