Ginny Allen is coordinating our annual school supply drive for Heritage Academy and Jessye Norman School of the Arts again this year.  We plan to collect supplies July 14-28, 2020 and deliver the ones for Heritage Academy in time for their August 4th Orientation Day.  This will be a great help to the 259 K-8th students and teachers at Heritage Academy. Jessye Norman serves 125 students in their tutoring program. You can drop supplies off at the parking lot door of the church on Tuesdays, July 14, 21, and 28 or Thursdays, July 16 and 23 between 9am and 3pm.  Just leave a note or label the box or bag “HA or JNSA school supply drive” and ring the buzzer to let office staff know that you dropped something off.

You can also contact Ginny at for directions about how to leave supplies at her home one mile from I-20/Washington Road.  Include your name, address and email if you would like a receipt for tax purposes.  We will also accept checks made out to Heritage Academy or Jessye Norman School of the Arts with supply drive on the ‘for’ line. Both programs appreciate our continuing support.

They can always use basic items like notebooks, pens, pencils, lined paper, and folders. They expect to serve the same number of students (roughly 125), whether they offer in-person programming, a hybrid, or virtual programming. For more info: 706-877-0411 (school)
