Learning is a gift from God. We invite you to grow along with us. There are many Sunday School classes to visit; there are many programs on Wednesday nights for children, youth, and adults. Nursery is provided every Sunday and Wednesday. New for this winter are several adult bible study and movie study options:
As part of our Wednesday program schedule:
- The Entrusted study on 2 Timothy did not have enough participants to continue at this time, but we will offer it again in the future.
- We will discuss the movie I Can Only Imagine and its themes of redemption and forgiveness. OJanuary 15 – Feb 5 we will view movie clips as we discuss the various topics. There is an optional journal with daily homework for deeper reflection.
On Monday, February 3, join us for a Brown Bag Bible Study at noon. This 6 week study will be on “Becoming Heart Sisters: A Bible Study on Authentic Friendships ” by Natalie Chambers Snapp. A closed Facebook group will be created for the study for you to still participate even if you cannot attend the weekly meeting and also to enhance our study with discussion, prayers, and resource sharing. Get your book from Nichole or online.
The United Methodist Women continue Wesley Bible Studies on Philippians, Colossians, and Philemon, meeting monthly in members’ homes on the second Mondays at 7pm. Or the Towers circle meets at 2pm second Thursdays in the private dining room of the Towers.
We invite you to study with us. And we encourage you to bring a friend along. Books are available at the church or you may order your own. Some are offered in large print or ebook editions.
We learn in different ways: some by reading; some by hearing; others by doing; and all of us maturing in faith, together.
