Sacred Spaces: Creating Holy Places of Worship
It’s not too late to join us. Come any week!
In this time of the pandemic, how do we worship? How do we create sacred spaces when our sanctuaries are closed?
This 5 week study will explore the sacred sanctuary within us, the sanctuary in nature, the synagogue, and the church. We will use lessons from Cokesbury’s Fall 2020 Adult Bible Studies curriculum as a guide. Books are available.
We invite you to join us in the St John Fellowship Hall at 6:00pm each Wednesday. Park in the back parking lot and come through the center doors. Masks required. We have some available.
This week, November 4, we discuss how the Israelites built their first Bethel – “house of God” – and the healing we find in worship.
If you do not feel comfortable joining us in person for this study, Zoom will also be provided as a way to participate.
