Directions to Saint John United Methodist Church
St. John Church is at 736 Greene Street, in the heart of downtown Augusta.
Located between 7th and 8th streets, the front doors of the church open onto Greene Street, facing The Jessye Norman School of the Arts and The Richmond on Greene. The backdoors of the church open onto our Telfair Street parking lot, beside St. John Towers and across the street (Telfair St.) from Bell Auditorium and Most Holy Trinity Catholic Church.
From I-20:
Take exit 199 onto Washington Road and head south/east toward downtown Augusta. Washington Rd. becomes the Calhoun Expressway; take the Calhoun Expressway to its end.
The Calhoun Expressway becomes Greene St..
Continue on Greene St. to the 700 block.
St. John Church will be on your right between 8th and 7th streets.
From the River Watch Parkway:
Take the River Watch Parkway into downtown Augusta.
At 15th Street, turn right.
At Broad Street, turn left.
At 8th Street, turn right.
At Greene Street, turn left. St. John Church will be on your right.
From North Augusta, SC:
Take Georgia Avenue toward downtown Augusta and cross into Augusta on the 13th Street bridge.
Turn left on Telfair Street.
Continue on Telfair Street until you cross 8th Street.
The St. John parking lot will be on your left between 8th and 7th Streets.
From Aiken, SC:
Take US 1 (Aiken-Augusta Highway) toward Augusta.
Take the 5th Street bridge exit and cross the Savannah River.
Turn right on Greene Street and continue until you cross 7th Street.
St. John Church will be on your left, between 7th and 8th Streets.

1. The St. John parking lot behind our church, on Telfair Street.
2. Greene Street parking.
3. The Richmond on Greene (725 Greene St.)
